What Are Spirit Guides???By Carla Anderson
The spiritual path of self awareness is strewn with a landscape of ever changing questions. Often, individuals might seek a assistance from a physic or tarot reader and use another's honed gifts to help them access useful information. Inevitably each person reaches a turning point in the journey where the focus goes Within. At this juncture the landscape changes. You are beginning to realize that how you perceive something helps to shape it. Naturally, like any good adventurer, you begin to seek the broader perspective of your own Within.
One of the most essential queries is about other dimensional guides or helpers. Do spirit guides really exist? If so, what is their purpose? And how does one get in touch with them? Even if one gets in touch with them, how can one know that they are really one's spirit guides?
The place you want to start is within you. Learn to meditate, or spend time in nature, being quiet. Don't try to figure it out or your mind will run the conversation. Try to spend time out of your head and center your desire to know in your heart. When you ask from the heart, and keep your heart open to receiving...your guides will give you clues that they are present. Know that they are always present.
Everyone is an aspect of original Source energy. As that energy emanates out from source it divides/multiplies into lots of potentials. Imagine a ray of light that is made up of unlimited number of sparks of light. You, the one you identify with, is a facet of a spark, but you are never separate from the ray. When your facet chose to experience being human, you chose to "forget" that you are part of a spark, which is part of a ray, which is emanating from the core of LOVE.
The other facets of that spark are not in "forgetfulness". They know you as part of them. They know you are in the forgetfulness, and they will do everything they can to remind you of who you really are. You must be willing to seek and FEEL their presence. That feeling comes through the heart, not the head.
So, please take a moment to ask your heart if any message feels right for you. If it does, then take it to heart. If not, simply let it go.
There are a few simple techniques for developing a good relationship with your guides, or Higher Self, as it is sometimes called.
• Tap in to the New 5th and higher dimensional energy now in place around Earth.
• Listen to the Small Still Voice inside
• Embody the Three basic Truths: You are more than a body, The Earth is alive, All is One.
• Wake up well.
• Spend time in nature.
Keep in mind that "belief" is for people who don't "know". Holding tight to limiting beliefs can impede your ability to gain the best affirmation - through your own experience.
As someone who LOVES walking with multi-dimensional guidance every day, I have to share my enthusiasm for this integrated knowingness. Of course, as with any "new set of wheels" with which to journey through life, there are a few things to get used to - but the ride is more meaningful than ever.
