Gaining Comfort From Spirituality...

I had a great session with a wonderful Medium the other day. I have felt as light as a feather ever since and yet very much rooted firmly to the ground as well; I guess the overall feeling is one of believing that I am exactly where I'm meant to be and also know where I should be going...and of course a reinforced feeling that I am not alone; a sense of knowing that there is always help and guidance at hand
.In actual fact what a person gets out of this type of session is probably reflective of what they expect to happen. A non-believer will usually get little from something which they do not believe in. In contrast the greater the depth of your belief, the greater the rewards you will reap. Whether you have a positive or negative expectancy will directly affect everything which you experience in life, not just how much you get out of a reading with a Psychic or a visit to a therapist.
I was chatting with a friend about my "session" and he pointed out that everything which was communicated to me seemed to have the purpose of deepening my beliefs. I had to agree, and was also very happy to do so. It is very comforting to me to feel that my dad, amongst others, is with me all of the time, always willing to guide me and to help in any way possible.
You see, earlier in the day, prior to my session, I had actually been saying that it had puzzled by why my dad had not come through in earlier sessions. In fact, he had come through but I had not recognized him as he called himself by his first name whereas everyone knew him by his middle name and of course I called him "dad". I was provided with dozens (and I mean dozens) of things which all pointed out that he was with me in every part of my life.
I had spent some time thinking "why doesn't dad come through?" and wishing that he would do so. Then, in my session, this is exactly what happened. It is undeniable that a key principle in life in general is that whatever you focus upon most or imagine does tend to happen. Whatever you imagine you create. Whatever you focus upon you attract into your life.
I believe that my session was also designed to reinforce this reality to me; that your life will be what you expect it to be. You have the power to shape your world and, so long as you believe in your intrinsic spiritual nature, you have helpers who listen to what you want and guide you in the direction of your dreams.
This is but one small example of how one can gain an enormous amount of comfort from spirituality.
